3406 b can be set as low as 310 Hp. Or up to550 so you have to let a CAT guru look at it and run the #s off of the pump (if it has them. ) The low Hp 3406 engines can only go to about 350 or so , then you gotta start spending ALOT of $$$ to turn them up or you will burn them up.
That's where I'm at..355hp...took it to a cat guy.
I told him what I wanted, he said drop it off and we will tweak it.
Called me back a couple hrs later and he said exactly what you did... you want more power it ain't gonna be cheap.. I haven't touched it since. Just left it be |
