Why pray for a weather scare. You can go dig a hole anywhere in northwest IA, southeast SD, or southwest MN, and providing you get through the frost you won't get your feet wet. It's bone dry here. We all ready have a weather event, it's just that many don't realize it yet. We have 0 sub soil moisture.
