Brookston, IN | We used a Trimble FM750 with great app unlock to send rate to a Hiniker 8160. The 8160 then controlled a Hiniker VOD. We also had Nitrolert on the applicator.
The 750 was already in the tractor for guidance and we already had a VOD and Nitrolert Due to past issues with uneven application. All we had to buy was the unlock and a cable to connect the FM750 to the 8160. The system worked well but we quit using it as the RX’s we were getting only had a 20lb variation across the whole field, the majority of the field was within 10lbs. | |
