East Central, Nebraska | as for controlling the hiniker valve back in the day it wasn't a thing, then it became a thing but did not work all that well.
if your trying to cut some corners i would track down a hiniker 8160 and use an app rate module to control the rate on it. that way if your valves or flow meter goes bad you can go to a raven and liquid product module somewhat inexpensively. i saw an app rate module for sale the other day for $150. you would need a 9 pin serial cable which are basically free. and i would think you could source a 8160 very inexpensively. that would be a low down inexpensive way to variable rate. someone else will have to chime in on controlling hiniker valves and flow meters. last time i tried it i threw all the hiniker stuff in the trash and put raven controls on but that was a long time ago. | |
