This was what I was asking, so water weighs a little more than corn. I agree with everyone else that it’s better to lose a little being to dry than have a bunch of musty or damaged corn but also 462 bushel of organic corn at $8 Bu is near $4,000 so it something to think about. My hopes are to store 12,000 of it until later in summer and maybe gain a lot more than $4,000.


Actually, corn weighs more than water. A trailer load of 15% corn will weigh more than the same size trailer load of wetter corn.
