Subject: Fire Fighting Question - Foam or CAFs in wildland applications

Hoping I get some responses:
Our Fire Department is debating on upgrading grass rig and wondering if anyone has experience with foam or CAF's in wildland field fire applications.
We have on a pumper w/ CAF's and are satisfied with what it does. I know they make CAFs skids for wildland, just cant seem to find out much on how they work
Primary objective is to stretch water and make a fast nimble lightweight unit. Current rig is 600 gal water which is nice, but have to be somewhat careful where you go.
