Subject: RE: What modifications needed?

Lincoln County. NC
You can put bigger bore sleeves in a 123 (Super A,C) block than you can your 113 block. Or you can machine your block to accept the larger sleeves. If you don't want to get a custom cam grind a C-135 cam has a better profile than yours. They used to be available in the aftermarket, maybe still are. Electronic ignition gives consistent spark. I built a Super C engine in about 1996 but I didn't go crazy. I did have a lot of fun. Pulled 3500, 4000 and a few times in 4500. It it had Fast Hitch which of course was heavy. Dynoed about 36 hp at 540 rpm if I recall.

Power costs money, how much do you want to pull?
