Subject: RE: Firestone tires

Northwest Missouri
Have a set on a 7510, working great so far. Firestone markets them as for a "secondary tractor". I have questioned Firestone reps what the hell this means - if my primary tractor gets 3000hr/yr use and my "secondary" gets 2500hrs, why wouldn't the next guys' primary tractor that gets 150hrs/yr be just fine? As for wear, not sure yet, but they could wear substantially worse and still be same lifespan of a radial all trac as the evo is generally a deeper tread to start with.

Have sold 100 or so the past 2 years without any issues. Hardest use is a customer using them on the front of a 8285r. Most are 150hp and less, lots with loaders. The carcass weight is generally less, but load index is generally same or even higher in some sizes.
