EVOs have been discussed in the past and if you do a search you can probably find more info, but these are not the same as a Firestone 23 degree R1 radial. If you have or can get a full Firestone spec book, compare the weight of an EVO to a regular 23 degree R-1. EVO is a significantly cheaper / lighter-built tire to compete with budget brands. That said, they maybe have their place if not being used in a tough environment / for heavy pulling.

Might also want to pay attention to the specs for overall tire height, as I think I saw someone claim EVOs tended to be short for a given tire size.
