| We have a 10 ton Chandler (20PT), and I would echo almost all the comments. We modified ours and mounted the box on an old Knight manure spreader frame, so now we have a walking tandem on 445 tires, so that takes care of the balance issues. It also sits about a foot higher. As far as seeing in, we have a camera mounted on the back so we can see the chain and spinners. It was originally a ground drive, and we converted to hydraulic drive. The main problem we have had was trying to run the door too tight with the ground drive for lower rates, which puts pressure on the chain and stretched it. With the hydraulic drive we can run the chain slower and open the door up. | |
