Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn.
Either way is probably fine. For most other initial installs the high current power comes directly off the battery. The cable for the 460 should have constant 12V on pin 16 with a fairly heavy wire which should be sufficient for the liquid module. The Auxiliary Input Module doesn't need high current power and just gets its power from the CAN connector. The Auxiliary Input module does not need high current power since its only function is to communicate which boom switches you have ON back on the CAN bus thus it doesn't do any real "work" such as opening valves etc.
