SW Wisconsin | Last summer I sold a Jersey cull cow to a neighbor for beef (traded work for the cow, they paid to haul it to the locker and paid for processing). Now they've decided the beef is inedible ("gamey"). They sent some over for me to taste, and it tastes perfectly good to me. My sister cooked up a roast they sent over and a roast from a 3-year old fat heifer that I sent to the same locker about a year ago, and I actually picked the roast they sent over as better beef. I don't need the beef, but my brother needs some. What's a reasonable price to buy it back? I realize that I could tell them to get lost, and I certainly don't plan to sell them beef in the future, but I'd rather they be happy with the deal if possible. | |
