Bloomington and Putnam IL | My parents wouldn't let me play Little League or high school football and I'm still not happy about that. Thus we let our kids pick their sports and do as much or as little as they wanted. We traveled a lot with our daughter with tennis. She was a 4 time state qualifier and all-state once. Passed on D3 tennis to go to the U. of I and focus on her education. Tennis helped make her tough and never quit. Son is a good runner. I took him to his first 5K when he was 8 or 9. Never made state but good enough for D3 or JUCO but also passed. He still runs with me a couple times a month at local races. Good luck with your decision.
