Hahahahaha. Good stories. Now I know why I couldn’t get my two 850 lb replacements broke for my two kids last year. Covid postponed 4h show til august and they had to get bred in pasture in July. Friend said they would come to feed and you could halter them. No way. Pretty much had to put in chute every time til end. Got to where I could put them in crowding tub with me and halter them. As far as leading them it was all 250lbs of me fighting them for weeks. Never got to the point I could trust them with 10 year old. Not sure the 700$ premium is worth it but may try again. This was my first attempt. They both got bred so I’m willing to bet they will be good game cows though
