Subject: Breaking a 4H steer

West Central Nebraska - Sandhills
This'll be the boy's first year showing a market steer for 4H. Steer weighs about 750-800 right now and is long term weaned, but not broke by any means. I've never done this before (wasn't lucky enough to show 4H as a kid myself), we don't/won't have a donkey, was looking for advice on how to begin the breaking process? Show isn't until end of August. TIA for any advice!!
