C IL | Btdt. I believe it is an older rule. You get weighted average program yields on the farm no. Base acres are tied to a specific tract IIRC so no noticeable affect there. Can’t remember if program yields are tied to a tract after the fact or not.
I think this is driven from the top because overall resources (inc. staffing) are partially allocated by farm numbers.
It complicated our record keeping system and takes away from the flexibility of matching up programs to field risk profiles, but what can a guy do. |
