I’m surprised nobody said to pull two twines through when pulling old hose out. One to use and one to remain in tube if you need it in the future. Mine has a plastic baling twine running through tied at each end now. If I need it....it’s there. If I don’t, it doesn’t hurt anything and doesn’t rot or rust. Gives a little peace of mind.
