Subject: Deere 855D Gator 4WD issue

Colorado
I have a Deere 855D that has a snow plow on it.
When using 4WD it works great, until you change directions, then it feels like something is binding up in the front end, it gets really stiff and feels like your on the brakes.
If you pop it back into R, roll back a few feet, then back into F it works fine again.
Same if you take it out of 4wd, feels like its binding until you reverse it, then go forwards again.
I have jacked it up, looked everything over and havent found anything that looks wrong, it doesnt do it 100% of the time so its hard to pinpoint. I also suspect that once I jack it up to see where the bind is it releases and works fine.
