Counted my hay stack today. Have enough to last about 8 weeks. That may or may not get us to grass, depending on the weather. I have 15 pairs and 10 yearlings in one lot, they're going through about 8 rolls a week. Also feeding 8-10 5 gallon buckets of shelled corn a day to this bunch. I should have plenty of corn to keep feeding, at least 6-8 yon left on the trailer. I've though about trying to save a roll or two a week on this bunch. That may gain me 2 weeks of feed. I though about upping the corn and then letting them run out of hay for a day. Usually feed 2 bales every other day. Anyone done this? What's the best option?

Your feeding 10-12 pounds a day of corn per animal?

And how big is a roll of hay? What's it weigh?
