Love the cat c18 but I don't know at the same horsepower level if it would have any more torque then this engine? This is a low RPM massive torque monster engine.

As far as the CVT goes even doing heavy tillage it's still pretty handy. I got the drive one last fall and if you set the mile per hour let's say at 5 and a half it would stay at 5 and a half but when you hit some hard areas you would just see the RPMs come up in your fuel come up and then when you got back into the soft soil the RPMs and the fuel would drop. If you set the miles per hour to 7 mile per hour you hit that same hard spot it might slow the tractor down to five and a half to get through that tough spot but then on the back side it jumps back up to seven miles an hour. Very efficient and very productive. Same on the headland if you don't want to be turning around at 7 miles an hour you can have the head land speed set at 4 1/2 and you're not feeling the transmission shifting gears all day.
