Iowa
I’ve got an 8070 fwa. Have not had any fwa problems but have heard parts are hard to find and they need to be greased religiously. (Which I do). 426 engine is kinda blah - they’re good engines till they ventilate the block, make sure rods bearings get changed every 3000 hrs or so and use new bolts. My 8070 has an 8.3 repower, so even if the engine grenades they’re a nice enough tractor to put a nice engine in. I tell people it’s a 90’s tractor and cab, with a late 60’s engine. The 426 is cold blooded so keep that in mind depending on location. I actually just walked out to fire my 7060 Allis - it’s 35 and she’s having none of it, of course it’s in cold storage and hasn’t been run in a couple months.
