Interesting results, have a few here and there like this but usually 15-30 minutes and they are being good mommas. I had one cow every year she calved you had to take calf away about 4 hrs. Glad she is gone now.
One thing I would have tried if I had your situation would be give the cow a shot of rompum. When they wake up they usually like the calf. This works with a graft too.
