Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | No, I bought a new 8310R several years ago. It had neither GPS nor radar as the dealer installed none, one or both at the dealership depending on the buyer's wants. I did not want either.
I had an Ag Leader steering system installed at another place which included GPS but did not have a radar output branch so I put a GPS speed only device on the cab roof. That meant there were two globes on the roof. One fed the Ag Leader system and the other feed speed only to the Deere 350 planter monitor.
Later I upgraded to a newer Ag Leader GPS 6500 which had a radar out branch. We were able to use that for the tractor dash and remove the GPS speed only device. At that time I was using an Ag Leader Seed Tube Monitoring Module for seed population monitoring so I didn't need radar for it as it uses GPS for speed internally.
