Missouri requires 3 acres per house for private well and septic systems. If you go smaller, an approved central septic treatment facility must be built and maintained.
Parcels may be split however one chooses where no planning or zoning exists. Planning and zoning is something I’m not familiar with so I can’t speak to how that affects parcel splits.
