If it wasn't for winter erosion control I wouldn't mess with them. I have not seen a return from them. Have seen yield losses if not handled correctly. Guy other day on here posted some really cool pics of water infiltration. While they did improve infiltration their yield data showed no statistical difference in yield. This being said I will continue to dabble in them and try to learn from others as someday they may really become beneficial from an economic standpoint. Just not yet.
