With that many I say you’re just getting your death loss out of the way. Probably will have good luck the rest of the calving season. I’ve had it happen several times with a lot of death loss at first and then it smooths out. I hear people brag about not losing any calves or cows for some length of time and I just think to myself “well you better get ready “.
