South Central MN | I too question the salary=management rule you are stating. I was salaried working as an engineer for a massive global company and had zero management responsibilities. Companies on that scale would probably not accidentally make me salary instead of hourly like could happen on a farm. There's far too much risk and oversight for something like that to just slide by for tens of thousands of employees.
I'm not disputing the point you make about salaries on farms, I'm just not sure being management is a major qualification for being salaried. | |
