One of my uncles hit several sales a week picking up odds and ends calves. He always kept a pretty new stock trailer and f250 but he mostly always ran an old used f100 with stock rack to the sales to do his buying. He said he could pretty much always fit everything he bought at a sale on and it ran for pennies of what the bigger truck ran for cost wise.
