Missouri | There's now a fairly good sized movement to replace the Denver stock show with the Cattlemen's Congress. Much of the movement is a result of the Democratic leadership in Denver and Colorado. From political leaders to exhibitors, it has way more steam behind it than I ever imagined. Oklahoma is estimating the show brought nearly 50 million dollars to their state. The "A show managed by cattlemen, for cattlemen" mantra seemed to ring true and 80% of exhibitors surveyed post show said they would exhibit cattle at a 2022 event if it was scheduled in January.
