WC Mn/Dakotas | To add to that sometimes there is an advantage to deep banding/strip a more concentrated nutrient in that it will have more plant available at peak times. Either more available to the pool or cycle faster. A bu will use x amount in a season, but it might need 75% in a two week period, not even/steady over 12 weeks. That factor is not given automatically by looking at a soil test or crop removal chart, but is a very real factor. | |
