Ohio | Pay hourly. Keep track of hours and allow overtime hours to be used for comp time. Come up with a plan on when and how that comp time can be used.
Example:
Hourly wage-$20
Workable hours in a year-2080 hours
Hours worked in a year-2280
That then allows employee to have 200 extra hours to be used when they want. Now you might have to have stipulations or set up a exact schedule on when they will be taking off. And maybe they will work so many hours that you can’t allow them to have off that much. But this is a system that works well and employees love it flexibility goes a long way. Some might want to only work 4 days a week some might want to come in or leave a hour or two early. | |
