No doubt. We switched to Ridge-till in the early '80s, and straight no-till in 2000. Started cover cropping in 1999, and got bigger into it in 2009.
What do Valhalla and I get for our years of doing the right thing? A pat on the head.
What to big farmers get, who switch the whole 6,000 acres over to check all the boxes? A $75,000 check and lots of TV spots, accolades, and "why aren't other farmers doing what these guys are doing. They are doing it RIGHT!"
