North Central Kansas | I bought a set of 54 heifers that were AI bred to start calving February 12th. The guy I bought them told me that he thought around 60% AI bred. First calf was born January 27th. 16 days early. 50 pound calf. By the 12th 32 had calved. One came a week later. The bull breds started a couple of days ago.
Your bull breds won't start until March 8th give or take a week. Did you preg check the heifers? That would give you an idea how many were Ai vs Bull. | |
