I recently saw a claim, and I am not sure if it is authenticated, that 1 in 3 covid patients are left with some kind of effect after the infection.
I believe it, particularly about the ongoing lack of taste and smell. I've heard of several incidences of this among my friends. One fellow in his early 20's was lamenting that Mtn Dew now tastes like burnt plastic, months after his infection was over. Might be good for him! :) |
