North West PA Or 20 yrs behind the West | I’m the leader of a buyers group and I place an order for 35 pallets of Sunfilm in mid January. Got call from my supplier last Saturday that Berry was using the clause force majeura. They were not honoring any of their prices and effective immediately 7% price increase for all orders shipped this week and 19% for all orders after today. My supplier called today saying he had some legal advise on the situation and was filing some papers against Berry. He had 15 semi loads sold already this year. If I get any Sunfilm , this will be the last time. We have used agri-seal, sigma and flavorseal with good results. The Sunfilm that came out of Canada in 2019 was junk.
