I’m not sure of the question.
If you are asking me how long do I keep them here so I finally trust their health and send them to a feed yard, the answer is I’ll send them with a homesick look and milk on their lips strait from the sale barn if I think I can buy a load of cattle that are profitable and will live.
Yea basically, didn't know if you figured there was a length of time you kept them all to make sure they were on the right track. Have always been curious about that side of things as I see there's guys out there doing just preconditioning on a custom basis for people then shipping them out. Probably be a whole different can of worms vs. commingling light cattle like i do now and grazing them. |
