Subject: RE: Minnesota county yield 2020

southern MN
Significant portions of my crop was under water three times last year, but that still was a great improvement over the previous 4 years. Those with a tad lighter ground in the county likely had some of their best crops ever.

As wet as it was and a few acres not worth harvesting my beans were over 50 bpa, being on the high ph side of the farm that was really good yield I’d be happy with any year

My 5 acre sand hill that never produces more than nubbins had 150 bu corn, I’ve never seen that in my life! The rest of the corn was waterlogged and produced not a whole lot more.

We caught 3 heavy heavy rains in 3 weeks, if you missed one of those or were on ground that drains better you had a fantastic year here.

It was a good year, not complaining.

Looking forward to next year, the snow is melting early and ground is drying out, that is a good thing in my location.
