Central Nebraska | Just had mine done over the winter. The bottom of your hand will be the worst pain. You'll know it when you've pushed too hard on it. I'm a couple of months out and the left is nearly pain free when pushed on, right is getting better. Dr said it would take 2-3 months for that to happen. I wore a brace while working until the stitches came out, more for a bit of padding and protection than anything. By the 3rd or 4th day, the stitches were more annoying than any other part of the process.
Get it done. I forgot what it was like to not have my hands tingle and hurt.
