Not saying I'm against it but it's just more of the typical sales pitch/hype machine.
Not here. It’s not a sure bet early beans are the best every year but they are more than not. The last 3 or 4 years April and early May planted beans beat mid-late May planted by 5-10 bu. Early planting equals more nodes which equals more pods it’s a fact. Now if you get the rain at the right time to fill them that’s another story. Starting planting earlier also means you finish earlier. Instead of starting early May and finishing late May I’ll start mid April and finish early May and get those free bushels. |
