Lots of good advice has been given. I'd add a couple of my own.
1. If you're not in a huge hurry to have this gate in place, dig the holes, put in the posts and braces, pour some kwikrete in the hole when backfilling and let it setup good before cutting the wire.
2. When cutting the wire, leave the bottom wire and cut the second from the bottom and skip every other one as you go up the post.
