Oh boy...Charlie the liberal nut job telling us how to farm. Well Charlie, on our farm we keep our soils healthy by adding manure back to it, planting cover crops, having at least 3 crops in our rotation, and planting in narrow rows to keep soil shaded and improve soil biota. Go bittch about farmers somewhere else.


We do all your doing but for some reason we still have slugs and cut worms that like to carry our crop away. Seems like some of the things we do to make our soil “healthy” cause other issues. Just because our intentions are doesn’t make it work. I have seen plenty of no-till fields eroded pretty bad because they can’t get a good crop established. Yes we do no-till some and have experienced all first hand including notill eroding.
