Nc Ks.
Ive got a neighbor who has been planting beans for several years with a great plains 2600. Just double disk openers is all, no coulters in front like the no till versions. And he has gotten a stand every year. He even drills into wheat stubble right behind the combine and gets stands. I see he has some kind of seed firmers on it. Im not saying this proves anything but he evidently has something figured out.
