Only showed 6 for a high in our yard around noon today.
Only 1 now and falling quickly.
Only saw a little sun but the conditions made yards a mess with build up of snow and a layer of ice at the bottom when temps turned cold several weeks ago.
Got a call to help out at the hog finishing barn next door.
Transport in to pick up a load and got off edge of yard.
Tractors are not much better on ice.
I would dig a hole to the ice at the bottom and then could not get out of hole without. shovel.
Had to go back and get loader tractor to pull big tractor out of hole once so we could unhook the chain to the truck and reposition.
Nasty barn to get truck into as the have to back in then turn to their blind side to line up with loading door.
We pulled it a couple times including sliding rear of trailer sideways to get him in position.
Scrapped out some of the snow buildup while they were loading and scratched up the ice a little and he pulled out up a slight grade Ok when loaded.
One good thing was the weather was so mild it was not too bad hauling chains and messing around outside.
