| Whenever there is a fairly high profile aviation related story, ie the United flight 328 a few days ago or the Kobe Bryant crash, don't watch the regular news for your information. First, check out Juan Brown on the YouTube channel called Blancolirio. Excellent source for no BS, layman's terms explanation from an actual expert as to what happened, what will investigators be looking at/for, and other factors to consider. Then, if the incident involves an engine go check out AgentJayZ, same type of no BS factual information about anything related to turbo jet, turbo shaft, turbo fan engines. Long story short, they are a breath of fresh air in the media environment of blowing sensationalized hot air. In general, news outlets know little to nothing about aviation.
