Ne Nebraska | Where the spencer dam went out they got a new bridge built and done over the Niobrara River last fall (if I remember right it was shortly before harvest). They did not rebuild the dam and are letting the river flow freely now. It had basically zero capacity left anyway as it was all silted in with sand. State highways have all been fixed I believe now. County bridges and roads haven’t had much done right around here. A lot of them will not get rebuilt way it sounds, just be a bunch of dead end roads now, a couple have been replaced with big culverts. I’m sure frankl or some others could expand more on this. | |
