Been there twice, loved it. We were on the Pacific side, flew into Liberia. Did a lot of touring, always felt safe. Even took a day trip to Nicaragua. Many different micro climates. First time I went we saw Mt. Arenal when it was an active volcano, second time it was dormant. I would go again.
