Agree 100% with side dressing, especially in our low to medium cec soils.
I think day 75 would be late for me though, I usually have 60ish units on by planting. And dribble on another 100-120ish units 6-7 weeks later relying on rain to work it into the root zone. Optimistically shooting for 200. Am I going to early?
