Chopper plugging in soybeans and cereals was an issue until the update kit that installs a divider for the MOG is installed. Rotors turn towards outside of machine so crop mat gets thrown together at tail of rotors. No issue in corn. Update kit eliminates near all problems. There are mixed reviews on whether the Hillside Kit update is essential or not. This kit removes IDEALBalance pans and puts in a Hesston designed return pan. Really opened up the Corn threshing capacity of the machine in our demos last fall. Didn't have a chance to try it in beans. Didn't have any major breakdowns other than a belt on RH side of machine that came off which they addressed with increasing the belt tension adjustment for it. Never happened again after the one instance. Sounds in the cab are way too similar. We had cab corn far too many times because the grain tank fills quickly and the tank full sound sounds like the auger swinging out etc. Unload auger isn't as high as other machines out there. It clears carts no problem in flat land but has very close clearance in hills for 1100-1300 bushel grain carts. Grain tank capacity, unload speed, grain sample, fuel efficiency and capacity are all superb. Used 1.3 gallons per acre in green stem beans and 0.9 gallons per acre in corn. It's quite a machine. Just needs a few things fine tuned on it yet and it'll be ready to take a lot of competitive colored machines out of the field.
