Be very careful that the def you use is fresh! I had a very unfortunate situation where the tote of def that I had went bad for some reason and I ended up having to do a complete replacement of the cat/muffler on two tractors. It was a $25,000 bill. We topped off the tractors to go do fall tillage the same day and by the end of the second day both tractors lost power, overheated and had completely plugged the muffler due to crystallization of the def in the system. We now only keep small quantities of def on hand that we will use in short order. Also, check the manufacture/expiration dates of the def that you buy.
