Return through the SCV outlet. Only time not to do that is if the sprayer pump has a 3rd case drain hose. That one must be returned to the rear end housing through a zero back pressure port.

You would also want to plug in the hoses so you operate the pump by pushing the lever forward into float to stop it. Pull it back to the lower position to run it. You can drop a stop into the slot behind the lever so it’s easier to pull it back against the stop to start the pump. You want to avoid slamming the pump to a stop when you move the lever into the hold (center) position like you normally would with a hydraulic cylinder. Some hydraulic motor circuits have a check valve between inlet and outlet to allow the motor and everything that’s spinning with it to freewheel and coast to a stop. Not sure if that pump has that or even if it really needs it, but better safe than sorry!
